The Leopold Sonnemann Hall in the Historisches Museum Frankfurt
Are you looking for a special hall for an event? The Leopold-Sonnemann-Saal in the historic Saalhof of the Historisches Museum Frankfurt is just such a venue. Large, bright and with modern technical equipment, it offers a wide range of possibilities. Its upscale furnishings give every event a special flair. Its large window front provides a sweeping view of the Main and the Sachsenhausen riverbank. Thanks to its size of 171 sqm, its excellent acoustic properties and its flexible seating arrangements and usability, the Leopold-Sonnemann-Saal is suitable for a wide range of events.
A festive ambience is created by 13 windows overlooking the southern bank of the Main, parquet flooring and modern controllable lighting. The adjacent foyer to the Rententurm with a size of 41 sqm can be used as a reception room or room for individually selectable catering. Further technical equipment includes a 13 sqm stage, an air conditioning and sound system, a projector (1280 x 800 pixels), an 8.50 sqm retractable screen and a blackout system.
It is also possible to hire rooms in the historical ambience of the Kronberger Haus in the Höchster Porzellanmuseum. Ideal for chamber concerts, readings and lectures. On request and by appointment, groups of up to 25 people can also celebrate parties and book cultural events with culinary delights in our rooms outside opening hours with professional catering.
Please note:
We are happy to rent to organizations, individuals and groups who share the values enshrined in our mission statement. The Historisches Museum Frankfurt is opposed to all forms of violence, discrimination and racism. We advocate respectful coexistence and equal rights for all, regardless of gender, origin, residence status, language, religion, skin color, disability, age and sexual orientation. As the Historisches Museum Frankfurt is a cultural institution with its own agenda, we do not rent space to political parties or party-affiliated organizations.
