Reading glasses
You left your glasses at home? Reading glasses in different strenghts can be borrowed free of charge at cash desk 3.
Multimedia guide
The multimedia guide is our most important tool for the mobile communication of museum contents to various needs. The tours are offered in the format of a web app. Thus the multimedia guide can be operated on the own device (for example, one's own PC, tablet or smartphone) via the browser. Anyone can already build his own tour of the objects that they are interested in at home for their planned visit to the museum and then use their own mobile device in the museum. Multimedia guided tours are being developed for various groups: an audiodescriptive tour for people with visual impairments, a video guide in German sign language for people with hearing impairment, a tour in easy language with radio play elements for people with learning difficulties or visitors with a low knowledge of German.
You can also borrow the multimedia guide at the cash desk for a fee (€ 3). It can be handed out to visitors older than 14 years.
