Frankfurt and Nazism – A City Joins In
The online tour takes visitors to 19 typical urban locations. The stories presented there illustrate how National Socialism shaped the city of Frankfurt and the everyday lives of its residents – ranging from the perpetrators to the victims of state and municipal violence.

Frankfurt and Nazism – Searching for Traces Today
The starting point for the search for traces was the present: 38 Frankfurt residents asked which places or situations reminded them personally of National Socialism. In which terms, attitudes or feelings do they find traces and perpetuations of National Socialism that still shape our society, even though the city's inhabitants have changed considerably?

Urban Green – Gardening Now!
The exhibition was created in collaboration with over 50 gardeners. In four thematic areas (Nourishing, Experiencing, Caring and Engaging), they provided insights into their gardening practice and information about the importance they attach to the care and maintenance of urban green spaces.

Urban Green – Frankfurt's Garden Lust
The exhibition traces the development of parks and green space planning in Frankfurt from the 18th century to the present. In seven chapters, it ranges from the bourgeois gardens of the city to the ramparts and the Palmengarten to the still young Hafenpark on the banks of the Main. It discusses the role of green spaces in times of rapid population growth, diverse leisure needs, climate crises, and during the Corona pandemic.

Clothing in motion – women's fashion since 1850
Here you will encounter historic garments, paintings and prints. You will discover how, through regional and international fashion, art and movement history, the women's body gains freedom, and what questions arise about today's freedom and limitation of movement through clothing.

I Spy with my little eye. Racism, Resistance and Empowerment
In their contributions to the exhibition, the CityLab workers addressed the interaction between the colonial past and the postcolonial present. They illuminated how racist continuities continue to have an effect on contemporary urban society and personal spheres of life.
