The whisperings of Saalhof

Many Frankfurt residents know the Saalhof as part of the museum and its immediate location on the Main. As "des riches sal" and sear of the royal mayors, as a trade fair hall, pietist meeting place, object of speculation, demolition site, residential building and finally as part of the new museum quarter, it has an eventful history. With a satirical history of the city by Michael Quast and Rainer Dachselt, this development is traced in ten audio images in an entertaining and pointed way. In cooperation with hr2 Kultur, the Fliegende Volksbühne has developed an audio installation for the new special exhibition room on level 0 in the new exhibition building of the HMF on the occasion of the opening.
