Film the city!
City Lab 2017
In the 2017 City Lab, we made seven films about personal and subjective experiences of the city. The films each last for one minute and are silent. They are part of a large wall projection in our new permanent exhibitionFrankfurt Now!, which opens in autumn 2017. The films relate to topics that are important to Frankfurt, such as building and homes, mobility and transport, the economy or the population. There are lots of facts and figures on these topics that provide an image of Frankfurt. But they don’t tell the whole story. The City Lab technicians made seven films to show the subjective side of the city. As it always does, the City Lab created the contributions together with professionals who provide advice and support. Julian Vogel, a director and cameraman from Frankfurt, is on board to help with the City Lab film.
